These complaints are silly as hell. If you don't like the card, don't watch the card. Real simple. Better yet, why don't YOU raise some cash and promote the kind of fights you're looking for. I'm sure they'd be great cards and I'd love to watch them.
Mora-Jacobs is a terrible fight, and you'll see it come Saturday night, it will make Truax-Jacobs look like Marquez-Vasquez...
A lot better than what we were getting for free before PBC. ESPN fights were garbage in comparison. Your just a computer douche who would complain about any fight anyway.
Differene is that FNF was on much more frequently and it was fridays, as opposed to being a big Saturday night.
To be honest though, I can't hate on the match up, it's just htat Mora? I mean Jacobs is already a pretty boring fighter. Now you add another into the mix? It will equate to a godawful fight, they need to start matching up their fighters in more interesting ways, otherwise they'll damage the rep of boxing if anything.
PBC is about equivalent to ESPN FNF actually. Of course it costs 10x as much to put on, so you could call it less efficient.. but that's not our problem. But the level and average quality of the cards is fairly comparable.
Why are you so surprised? He's been getting 1-1.5 million for some time now GGG got 1.5 against Willie Berto 1.6 against Guerrero.
Jacobs should be fighting someone like Heiland if he isn't fighting Quillen. Haymon is doing a horrible job matching Jacobs. I doubt he can blast out Mora (don't know if mora is shot tho) this is probably going to be a boring UD. PBC needs more fire fights to bring in fans
It's fine with me. Got some big names on there and the matchups are competitive. Got the NY Philly rivalry. The Barclay's crowd should be hyped and make it a good night of boxing. I'm not at all a fan of the "Latin Fake" Sergio Mora. But, he has enough skills to test Jacobs. And Paulie has enough to test Danny in his first WW fight. Some of the "fans" b!tching about Haymon and PBC all the time should just go ahead and make the complete transition to MMA. With fans like you who needs haters.
