Not sure about that. Landshark started this intentionally misleading thread, so I started the other, more truthful, one. I think he got his info off some German web site. I actually watched Steve Bunce's Boxing Hour, which had an interview with Kalle sauerland.

 

Why exactly is it so unthinkable that Abraham v Pavlik could happen in Germany?

If Arum can't make it viable in the states and Sauerland can make it viable in Germany, what's the problem?

I do appliance repair for a living. Sometimes I go into a place and someone tells me their theory of what is wrong. Sometimes it is just physically impossible or just way too far fetched, yet the person will get irate if I try and tell them the facts. These kinds of threads remind me of just that. This seems logical to me, that seems to be the solution, etc... etc... etc... Always easy if you aren't the person that actually has to make the damned thing work before you leave. Followed any of the Wald/Haye signing fiasco? Three contracts and no signature. Yeah, we all want to see the fight, so we don't WANT to understand why it isn't working.

Exactly. It's a shame they "offered" Pavlik only about half what they offered Felix Sturm.

 

2.5 million euros is about 3.5 million dollars.

Offer at this stage to Pavlik is stated at 3 million dollars.
