I was going to mention that but didn't feel like digging back through the posts for someone that comes in at the end of a thread without reading the beginning.

And it is such a long thread too.

 

If Sylvester beats castilejo tonight, whis is very likely scenario, than Sylvester is Sturm mandatory I think.

 

Sturm is a disgrace, but what do you expect when you are making money and simply aren't that great?

That'd be Sturm, anybody with a pulse will beat him.

Like I said, Sturm is nothing and has never been anything to mention. He ought to be stripped of his title and then that's it.

 

It may be true that Sturm ought to be stripped, but don't you agree that it would be more fun to see AA rip that belt off of him?

 

Of course, I'd love nothing more than to see Sturm KTFO, he's not even a player in the already weak MW division, but he's there in the rankings due to that belt. The guy has done nothing at all, nothing.

Castillejo is now in the MW mix because of Sturm essentially, this is a guy that a shot Vargas came back and dominated in a tune up fight and DLH disposed of in 5 years ago. He's an old former LMW who was very decent in that division at his best, so I can't take anything from Castillejo, but the fact that he's in the MW mix there shows the weakness of that division and Sturm got KOed by him first time around and then struggled with him in the next match.

The guy is making millions despite being a gate keeper level fighter at best and then people wonder why he fights nobody. Because he's NOT a top level fighter.

I'm not even sure Sturm would get past the Zertuche's of the world.:yep

 

Which is exactly why this fight needs to get made and sadly it's also why it probably won't.
