According to SID media network Sauerland plans another Super Six tournament for the CW Division. To me that's a logical consequence of the very successful SMW Super6.
Cunningham and Huck are both promoted by him, so they will participate. What do you think who will join the two champions?

Arslan vs Herelius winner (WBA Champion - July)
Lebedev vs Alexeev winner (WBO mandatory - August
Macceranelli vs Frenkel winner (European Champion - September)

Cunningham, Huck, Joan Pablo Hernandez, Wlodarczyk, BJ Flores and Maccarinelli/Frenkel winner.

If not all of them (for example Huck, Hernandez and Frenkel all being traiend by Wegner could be an issue), maybe Green, Erdei or Hide could apprear on the show.

It is a very solid list, CW is a lot better than being credited for, I for one would put the Lebedev-Alexeev winner in but I don't think Sauerland would (German TV rights debate).

One big thing that could possibly come of this, is that by the time the Super6 Cruserweight tournament winner is decided, the winner of the 168 tournie could be ready to match them. Is that to far fetched? Imagine if Ward wins at 168, moves up and grabs a couple of wins and a belt at 175. Then fight the Cruiserweight S6 winner? Is that possible?

    Highly improbable but not impossible!

Wonder how Ward would be rated if he won the super6 (remaining undefeated), beat Bute, went up to LHW and beat Dawson, then went on to beat the super6 Cruiser winner .... :yep:shock:

Not that that would happen but it'd be interesting to try and rank that ..

there are already hundred other threads about this.

    Cunningham, Huck plus another beltholder
    likely Hernandez or Frenkel
and they asked for Troy Ross to join

also they plan to start this at the end of the year or early next year
so Hucks mandatory defense against Alexeev/Lebedev winner will happen before this.
and therefore my conclusion is it wont happen at all since Huck will receive another kayo loss.

those guys like Arslan or Jones are just too old
however i can imagine that sauerland wouldl hire Jones in case his contract with DKP comes to an end anytime soon.

I'd be surprised if Enzo got the call.

I know he won the Euro title last time out, but his opponent despite his impressive looking record was an average journeyman that wouldn't beat most British-level light heavies.

Take that away and a couple of gimme fights against bums and Enzo has back to back KO losses against Haye, Afolabi and Lebedev.

Great news for boxing, the more tourneys with top guys fighting each other the better.
