Dawson would've been a better choice than Dirrell, but Dawson had some unfinished business with Johnson. But I totally disagree that Ward shouldn't be in there. He proved a lot more than Dirrell has in shutting out Miranda. I personally feel the least proven guy in this tourney is AA. At least all the others ARE SMW...Abraham might not be able to carry his power up in the division...and that would be incredibly detrimental to his fight game.

I would've loved to see Bute in there, but Im glad he's cleaning up the business with Andrade. That's a must!

Having Dirrell in there though makes **** interesting. Most of these guys are undefeated and that's much better than having old ass war horses in there.

I mean besides Dirrell and Taylor...I think everyone deserves to be in there.

 

Sauerland made numeruos offers for Pavlik to fight Abraham and all off them were refused. Say thank you to Arum.

 

How much did Abraham offer Pavlik to fight in Germany?

How much did Abraham asked for to fight in Atlantic City?

How much did HBO, or any other network, offer for Pavlik/Abraham?

How much was the total purse to fight anywhere or at anytime, and what was the proposed split?

The answers to those questions do not exist because Abraham never had any intentions of going near Pavlik. Thus, Abraham never negotiated in good faith, ever. He'd rather fight Pavlik's left overs.

Indeed. Some of these picks were rather suspect, Sauerland clearly stacked the field for his two fighters IMO.

Abraham/Dirrell; green prospect who will most likely be coming off a KO loss to Froch.

Abraham/Froch; You'd have to practice missing in order to land less than 40% on Froch.

 

Sorry to say but you know ****. Serious offers with serrious money were made. You know Sauerland pays good money. Arum killed Abraham-Pavlik.
