Saad by stoppage. Kovalev in his prime puts Canelo to sleep despite Canelo having a very good chin.

Canelo schools and makes look any version of kovalev a clown.
Qawi probably beats him based on pressure+natural size, but pfp canelo is better

Canelo has a remarkable combination of not being a natural light-heavy and looking pretty average vs a shot opponent in his only fight there. Prime Kovalev beats him up. Dwight slaughters him, and God so help him if you put him in with one of the ATGs at the division.

Qawi. I don't think an explanation, as to why, is required.

It is one of the oddest bouts I can recall seeing.

Yeah, it was pretty weird. Canelo's best win, though. Which says more about Canelo than Kovalev. Ever since changing trainer, and more recently hitting the bottle, Kovalev has looked awful. He doesn't sit on his shots, he tries to box and move and relies on pitter-patter jabs to build up points. He's looked in decline ever since the Ward rematch IMO. I think he should adopt his old nickname and go back to Noodles.

Kovalev's prime was never going to last long. Canelo was just an opportunity to sell out for a huge paycheck.

I don't know what he was doing in that fight against Canelo, but it wasn't anything that looked like an attempt to win the contest.

I think it's a very suspicious looking bout, tbh.

It'll be like GGG but with much better defense, and even more relentless pressure and attack. Qawi will bring hell on Canelo and beat him up badly. Canelo doesn't have the footwork to keep the Camden Buzzsaw off of him.
