This is a real problem for Matthew , lets face it his brother could really really fight , but Matthew basically just followed Ricky and has been managed well , Matthew isnt even the best in Manchester.

This fight , I hope it doesnt Happen , as it would happen in the States and be very very onesided.

You clearly havn't seen his last couple bouts. He has improved a fair bit...nowhere near World class. But some more experience for Alvarez.

Matthew Hatton (on the form of his life), or a shot to pieces Baldomir (who wasn't any good to begin with)...? I know which one would give him a bigger test, and get him prepared for younger, stiffer competition.

Well, there's finally going to be a reason to watch Matthew fight at least.

Why, because he lost to Watson? What has Watson gone onto do?

So I'm guessing Pacquiao isn't even the best in Manila...he was knocked out by Torrecampo wasn't he?

Hatton has improved since then. I know it might seem I'm trying really hard to defend him, but he gets harsh criticism just because he is Ricky's brother. He had limited amateur experience, and has been learning on the go...and has improved, and impressed recently.

I don't see how Hatton is any worse then Senchenko, both their best wins came against the same guy. Zaveck turned it down.

    Decent fight.

Has he really improved that much , I went to his fight against Watson and he lost every round , since then Watson has lost one fight and I thought he won that.

Really like the Hatton family and will always be a big fan of Ricky's , but Matthew is in deep water now and cannot swim.

Id ****in love to know what Kell Brook is thinking about this ??!! , surely he must be going sick of the thought of Matthew Hatton landing a fight of this magnitude when he cant even get an opponent ...............

yes i have seen his last couple of fights and i still think craig watson, john o'donnell and possibly a few others would beat him. i.e. british domestic level.
