Just wondering opinions on the outcome if or when these two meet. I personally think both will rise to the top of the 147lbs division if Alvarez decides to compete at this weight (which I think he should) with Berto in and around the mix aswell. Mike Jones may well be near the top too but I think hell need to vastly improve. I know many will say Brook hasnt fought anyone of real note and to be honest he hasnt. You could also question his motives of trying to force a fight with 140lbs Khan when the big fights at 147 are there for him. Anyway, what you think?

    Saul Alvarez - 35-0-1 (26)

    Kell Brook - 23-0 (16)

    :think

Brook talks a lot and doesnt impress me one bit.

He'll be a poor man's version of a Junior Witter type champion at best.

I dont think i have ever seen Kell Brooks so ima stay away from arguing on him but Mike Jones will not be a top fighter. He has already shown too many holes in his game. I actually would like to see Alvarez face him towards the end of this year and get rid of one contender.

Great fight IMO. I really like both, especially Kell. Yes he has thought bums, bit he has impressed me with his power.

And Saul, I really like this guy too, very determined with a lot of heart.

Would love to see it. It's a step up for both guys, and it's probably a fight they both need at this stage in their careers.

I think brook may just stop him. But it's a 50/50 fight IMO. 1 more thing, if Kell was American, you boys would be raving about him. Hope he gets the fight with Jones

not seen enough or alverez but ive seen most brooks fights and know how good he is. brook has good power and speed and can ko people with one shot. he's not a realy skilled fighter but he can certanly box. from what ive seen of saul id say maybe he would out box brook but it would be a close fight!

What is everyone talking about??? Isn't Andre Ward WBA champion? And he beat Kessler, Bika, Green, n Miranda.. who has Brooks beaten?

I'm not saying Ward is p4p top ten yet, but he has still proven more than the likes of Brooks. And Bradley and Alexander have proven more than Brooks as well, so all this American Hype Job nonsense is ridiculous.... I KNOW FOR A FACT that Andre Berto is a HBO hypejob.. it is written all over their telecasts... but this other American fighters that I named are not hype jobs because they obviously backed things up so far...

I know you didn't talk about Ward, someone else did.. just making a point

    Kessler, Bika, Green, n Miranda

those four fighters arnt in the class of dirrell, pascal, taylor and abraham who carl froch beat. but ward still gets rated both by fans and official standings as the better fighter. iod pick carl to beat ward.

I actually rate Ward, Bradley and Devon highly so I'm not sure what your point was. Ward is the best SMW int he world (followed by Froch then Bute IMO), and Khan is sandwiched between Bradley (number 1) and Alexander (3) at LWW.

I'm merely stating that if Brook was American, he would get a lot more attention and love off u guys (remember lacy).

I like the look of Kell Brook but i really think hes going to miss the boat and become a what could have been man if they dont get a move on.

Hes fought nobody. I dont know if its Brooks fault or Warrens fault but he needs to move on with his career and quick. Time is being wasted doing nothing.

Id go with Alvarez, he looks exciting and already at a better level than Brook is despite being 4 years younger.

has Kell Brook beaten a fighter of the same calibur as Kessler? NO. He hasn't even beaten someone on Allan Green's level. So shut the **** up. If he was American he'd be considered about the same as Daniel Jacobs was prior to his loss to Pirog.

Alvarez wins this one big. Brook is a bit tricky and awkward, but he's proven he doesn't handle pressure well and he still makes a lot of mistakes and mental lapses.
