Too early for Canelo to be in these matchups, people stop doing this and wait until fighters grow. Taylor proved himself and is done now, Canelo is still and young,talented fighter. Taylor wasn't much of a smart fighter and I though Hopkins(first fight,CLEARLY) and Wright(clearly too) beat him but the guy would fight anyone and would fight until his short stamina gave up on him. Taylor too big and hits more than hard enough to stop Canelo.

 

Because here in ESB, every time a fanboy's boxer wins impressively they'll create a ****ing thread pitting their idol to past champions or even all-time greats atsch

 

Well its a little unfair since Taylor would be prime and Canelo im sure is not even close to it.
So for now Taylor beats him. Just dont know wether a TKO or UD.

Taylor was a beast at MW. He beat Hopkins for Gods sake and he obviously was not that far past it as he is still performing at the top level.
One of the most underrated MW due to HBO hyping him and the close Hopkins fights which yea could have gone to Hopkins also.

Well he's not going to get any fleeter of foot. A young Taylor was bigger and faster and stronger and would dominate...Taylor now might be a better fight.

 

Taylor dude.... Canelo is too small for him.. but who knows in the future..... Canelo is still too green... JT was physical and tough as nails.... Canelo fighting Angulo could give a better idea of the a matchup against a prime JT...

 

Too much hype on Alvarez at the moment.
