    At this point you have to wonder what Angulo & Virgil Hunter's game plan actually was, because he's not cutting off the ring or applying pressure in any meaningful way and has yet to adjust to any of Canelo's offensive weapons. Angulo's grit and fortitude is the only thing keeping him in this, but he's getting outclassed.

    Alvarez is giving up the initiative, Angulo motoring away with both fists pelting in. Alvarez is kept on the ropes for an extended period, over a minute, turning either way and rolling his shoulder, doing a Mayweather imitation. Angulo bangs the body and hooks wildly up top, mostly getting slipped but quieting Alvarez down. BIG right hand by Angulo driving Alvarez across the ring. Alvarez drops his gloves and nods, saying "Come on", acting macho. Angulo slams in a few hard body shots and Alvarez swerves off the ropes, dragging his left glove in from behind his back and tossing it up in a big wide hook.
