I felt that the bout between Canelo Alvarez and Alfredo Angulo was going to be a mismatch. Based on various descriptions of the bout, it appears that I hit the nail on the head. I like seeing Angulo fight, but there wasn't any way that I was going to pay regular PPV prices to see this bout. Hope that Angulo got a nice payday and puts much of it away for a rainy day.

If refs stopped the fight after every big punch then I wouldn't watch boxing. That was ridiculous.

Let that fight go and Angulo keeps walking forward eating big shots. He would not have quit and he would've killed Virgil if he threw in the towel. Weeks did the right thing. Just cause he doesn't hit the canvas doesn't mean he isn't losing brain function with every punch.
