    Thompson eats a jab and comes forward. Alvarez skips away, pumping the left jab. Thompson marches up, ducks inside with his shoulders pitched forward and leads with a big right hand up top. Alvarez is hurt!! Thompson is ripping hard combos, straights and clubbing shots. Alvarez turns off the ropes and jabs. Right hand to the body by Alvarez. Thompson is following, either walking in without a jab or putting up a throwaway version just to get Alvarez backing up in straight lines. Thompson stalks Alvarez, nearly trapping him on the ropes but not moving all the way in. Alvarez is coiled and waiting, showing his jab, bluffing readiness with a right hand counter.

    No, he doesn't. Lara is more physically gifted than Alvarez, including punching power. Alvarez is just a regular Mexican boxer who tries to box.
