    Alvarez is plugging in some hard left hooks on the body. Lara circles away, putting up needling right jabs. Head clash. Byrd warns both to not lead with their domes. Brief wrestling match, Alvarez victorious. Alvarez tosses Lara away like a toy. Hard jabs by Alvarez, finding Lara as he waits in front of the ropes, unsure where to go. Lara puts up his own jab but is caught by a left jab, the lacing of Alvarez's glove rubbing into his eye as he takes a step. Lara jumps backward into a corner to escape as Alvarez throws a right cross down at the body and misses. Lara down. Byrd rules it a slip. Lara paws at his eye.
