    That could have been ruled a knockdown, and maybe should have. Even though it was the lacing/thumb of Alvarez's glove that hurt Lara's eye with the jab and even though Lara jumped into the corner and didn't stick the landing, it was still a punch that landed (although the right cross follow-up missed) before Lara went down.
