    A series of bombs by Maidana from the initiation! Soto Karass is tumbling back toward the ropes and steadies himself on them as Maidana comes in pouring on the power. Soto Karass stands in with him and jabs from the southpaw stance, whipping some long lefts around to the head. Maidana rolls back with his shoulder up and comes in with a counter right hand. They press together and infight until Kenny Bayless interrupts to warn Soto Karass to watch his head. Lots of punches by Soto Karass, nonstop straight little arm punches aimed at the face of Maidana. The Argentinian dances around, ducks, eating some shots but also making Soto Karass miss a lot, landing counter left hooks and overhands. Lead left hook by Maidana stepping in. Soto Karass is again warned for leading with his head as he bends forward. 1-2 to the face by Maidana hopping back. Overhand rights by Soto Karass. BIG EXCHANGE AT THE BELL!! Bayless gets in between them.
