Regardles of what it says in boxrec you have to see the fight yourself. Tyner fought a hell of a fight and gave canelo the most trouble i ever seen beside, but if you never seen the fight go watch on youtube.

I ws hocked at how easy tyner walked canelo down and basically landing every punch in the boxing book. It also showed me canelo doesn't like pressure, because at times he would hold on from shots+the pace tyner set.

Tyner showed very good boxing ablity and if anybody exposed canelo it was him.

I see floyd setting a fast and outclassing canelo from start to finish.

i haven't seen this fight, but I wouldn't be too surprised, Tyner can be a handful when he cares to throw. But dude, that was 4 years ago, before Canelo turned 20. It's a very silly game plan for Floyd against a much larger Canelo. I heard Larry Mosley gave him a tougher fight anyway

Canelo has the same fflaws and fights the same, but only real difference is he's a bigger young man now.

Let me guess. Tyner pessured him, pushed the pace and didn't let Canelo fight at his on pace and he got tired a lot in the fight? :hey

The fight showed canelo can fight on the back foot effectively.

his defense has improved as well, imo.

Hes bigger, hes stronger, he punches harder, vastly more experienced, and he isn't as confused under attack (better defense),

I see what youre saying in that stylistically he is the same, and its a good fight to watch, but imo quite frankly hes just better then he was then, to the point that its not really relevant to today.

However, Canelo, imo, is a very basic fighter and someone like Mayweather already knows what they need to do to win. Whether he has the physical tools to do so come fight night is another story.

    just imo

I agree with everything up until the "Canelo is a very basic fighter"... that he is not.
