and he can eventually finish worst than Vargas. I prefer to see him develop like JCC sr not like Vargas
Not a bad test for Alvarez. N'dou is probably a small step up, at this point, from Baldomir and should give Alvarez some solid rounds. If Alvarez could stop him that would be an even better mark on his record. If Alvarez does beat N'dou(like he should) then he does need to look to face a top10-15 guy at either 147 or 154. If he wins he'll have beaten N'dou, Baldomir, Cotto, and Tyner in the last year. Thats enough of that level of fighters and time to look at facing some contenders. He doesn't have to step in with a Mayweather or Williams next but atleast step up to someone like Abregu or Ishe Smith.
I think moving Alvarez slowly is a smart move. Alvarez has the ability, the skills to be the next mexican superstar in the future. Look what happen to Vargas in his early age? Sure he won his first world title very young but look what happen in the progress? Everybody here should know easily that Vargas move up in competitsion way too early in which is why he retired at 29 years old.
He didn't fought in the amatuers before went to the pros you stupid f4ck. Both Tyson and Mayweather has. You need expereince in the amatuers if you want to fight a very good or great fighter at that age.
i think is a very reasonable fight,Ndou is not a walk in the park,he is competitive and keeps you busy...and im supporting Canelo 100%,he is only 20 and looking sharp, never seen a gift given to him.He should be ready for a title shot next yr.
Then once hes champ he would have to face the top 154 pounders or get critizes more. That division is about to blow up too. If he doesnt face those top guys then he will be a Berto. He needs more time. He is only 20. I dont understand why people want him to get rushed. I guess its just haters that want to see him fail.
its not about rushing him he just fought a decent fighter and now he's stepping down in competition, he probably will be ready to take on berto or collazo in a few more fights but he wont if he decides to fight guys like n'dou.
chavez jr has a harder task vs gomez. when all is said and done tho, alvarev will have victories over vazquez, cuello, cotto, baldomir, n'dou. that is a good basis for a young fighter to have on his resume. still looking at them names, he has 4 decent names already, a step up should be on the cards really. someone like foreman, bundrage, angulo, chavez jr, cintron etc.
Until either he or his camp go around stating he's the best bar none let him work his way up slowly.. Nothing wrong with that. Boxing fans have gotten so inpatient like it's them fighting in the ring. When he starts roaring he's the best, then you can throw him to the champions prematurely. Until then let him develop.
Or if he only fought a couple of times a year like alot of the top prospects do. He is fighting good journeyman every 2 or 3 months so the kid is keeping busy while fighting good opposition for his age.
Wow, Canelo is fighting pretty good names and former champs. This guy has to be a superstar. Hopefully he doesn't fold.
