The kid is 20 years old and ran into a tough as nails veteran. We've seen he can handle going the distance with an opponent who won't back down. No reason to criticize him.

As for Hatton, I have a whole new respect. Had I known he would fight this way, I would have gone to the fight.

 

Magic amazed me with his incredible chin, he has only been KO'ed once.. so I see.

 

Yeah, taught him how to take a complete and utter beating and how to flop on the crown and try to act so you can get a point deduction or disqualification.

 

I think it was a great job by Hatton considering he was in an unwinnable fight. He survived, did it fighting(mostly) and finished on his feet. Good show, old chap.

 

hatton done us proud by going the distance,with the weight agaisnt him and not having power he was always going to struggle,he boxed and moved a bit,but isnt defensive or slick enough for that.

he really should have fought like ricky did!.

alverez age is no excuse,if hes good enough hes old enough.

they need to have him vs someone decent,or semi decent.

alverez vs chavez jnr should happen soon.

matton should stay at welter and hope to fight a lesser champ for a lesser wolrd title.

 

Straight to the hospital on this one Hatton stock didn't go down but he will be sore tomorrow.

F*ck HBO, the WBC, Golden Boy, robberies and this circus of a title fight. There at at least 5 fighters who would flatten Alvarez with ease at 154.

I dont think his power is what people make it seem, he is unable to ko these smaller dudes... I think someone his own size will truly show us if Alvarez has any power or even a legit threat...

 

He probably can't. Weighed 165lbs. He's stuck at 154.
