Depending on how Cotto does against Margarito, if they were to make this match up, who would you pick?
Looking at the evidence we already have on the two , i think it would be a closely contested technical fight , Alvarez's youth should shine through late on enough for him to take a UD with a couple of wobbles along the way for Cotto I think Alvarez is too young and fresh for the outsized and out gunned Cotto here
Canelo can't outbox him, and wouldn't fare well trying to outfight him. Cotto by KO or unanimous decision.
In this stage of their careers. Toss up, 50/50.... Canelo has the size and power factor, they have almost a similar style but cotto having the experience and probably matured boxing skills, most will favor him... but I still think the power and size will be to much, it will be a boxing match, and Canelo being superios in size I will favor him at this point of their careers/ the war torn cotto, who is in his last stages of his career which Arum is milking, I would not favor. If this was Pre 2 demolishments days, then Cotto all day, but he is not same anymore.
I think Cotto wins right now just not sure on the method. It wont be too long before ill be picking Alvarez mind
