    Rhodes comes forward, not punching. Alvarez backs off, not punching. Rhodes feints with his right, but does not actually punch. Alvarez backs into the ropes and swats with a hooking left, technically "punching". Rhodes feints, does not punch. Alvarez feints, does not punch. A whole minute, one punch thrown between the two. Minute and a half. Still Alvarez 0 for 1 and Rhodes 0 for 0 in actual punches. Here come a few jabs. Both falling short. Alvarez throws the first real punch, a lead right hand, mostly blocked. Another big right hand, sends Rhodes back on his heels but is still blocked. 1-2 to the body by Alvarez. Rhodes ducks a big left hook. Rhodes digs a left to the body as Alvarez leaps backward. Both pose and go back to not punching. Combo by Alvarez, pushes Rhodes into the ropes. Now Alvarez actually lands a good combo, hooks and looping rights to the body and head. Rhodes throws a lead right to try and push Alvarez back into a corner and then misses his own hook. Another combo lands for Alvarez. Another.
