    2 - 0 Alvarez, **** is terrible Alvarez is loading up for a big punch or to catch him with a flurry but isn't doing anything else between flurries.

    Alvatez looking good so far. He squares off a bit, but Rhodes isnt a long or straight puncher so he hasnt been able to capitalize

    This will be an easy fight for Alvarez. Rhodes is an overrated Euro. There are too many fighters who get shots just because they are Euro's. This is the case. I hate that Alvarez is being called Mexican. He looks like he has less than 25% Mexican blood.

    Rhodes jabs and is driven back by a hard 1-2 from Alvarez. Now Alvarez positions himself right in front of Rhodes and tees off with hard uppercutting combos. Rhodes holds his right jab out straight, keeping Alvarez pinned at the end of it so he can drill through with a left hand. Rhodes lands but doesn't bother Alvarez. A pair of right hands from Alvarez and Rhodes' knees dip almost imperceptibly. The power of Alvarez is starting to tell in a very subtle way. Rhodes is taking a lot more backward steps and looks to be reacting prematurely to every hint of a shot from Alvarez. Rhodes misses a 1-2 and Alvarez responds with an uppercut and a straight right hand whipped up over the top.
