    Until he beats a real 154 but didnt lose to a c-d level fighter. he will be a HBO protected fighter

    Still gonna be a good scrap but com on hatton, now this guy lol

    if he loses he wont fight again on HBO but if he struggles he will get a gift DEC

    LOckett is a C-D level fighter. anybody to lose to him shouldnt fight for a world title. Rhodes should be ashamed of himself

    if canelo beats rhodes clearly? look who canelo has beat. then look who rhodes has beat. look at some of rhodes losses too. this is a case where you dont need to watch tape on rhodes boxrec really is all you need

    i posted this on another thread but will be more than happy to educate you.

    rhodes has ko'd moore who beat lujan. the same lujan that had just gone 12 rounds with dzinzurik and ten rounds with a prime antonio margarito.

    canelo has beaten ww hatton whose career win is against a 40-year-old slw in gianluca branco.

    hatton is canelo's career win as baldomir came out of retirement to fight canelo and had three weeks to prepare. his ndou win was also against a 40-year-old.

    yes, boxrec.com can be very helpful to those that use it correctly.

    this fight for canelo is the same as vargas's fight with yory boy campas although both vargas and yory boy would have both schooled canelo and rhodes, respectively.

    kudos to gbp for making this fight and for demanding that it take place in 6000 altitude hometown guadalajara. there's a reason for this fight taking place here as opposed to staples or vegas.

    gbp realizes that canelo needs all the advantages he can get.

    i think Rhodes will cause problems early for Alvarez but i expect Saul to win by late KO

    I've just read the entire thread and they aren't that bad.


    Mathew Hatton went 12 rounds with Alvarez. Rhodes reputation in the Uk is that of a half decent boxer, but somebody who is better than Mathew Hatton.

    So it's only natural that Rhodes would at least cause some problems..... but he didn't .... infact he did fvck all.

    consider yourself impressed. i personally am cool with it though. everyone's trying to hype the world out of this kid but he's only 20. i'm in the minority in hoping his handlers continue to bring him up slowly opponent wise even if he continues to fight all the time.
