all but 3 of his 34 pro fights hav been at 147 or less those 3 hav been at 154 and 2 of them hav been his last 2 fights and his next sheduled fight against baldomir is allso at 154.

so is junior middle his new fighting weight ? personally i hope not id rather see him stay at welter cause over the next few years the division will be **** hot with fighters like khan, bradley, alexander eventually moving up and with talented prospects like mike jones antwon smith and shawn porter adding to da mix this division would be awesome if alvarez could be there aswell

wat you guys think should stay at 154 or go back to 147 ?

He'll probably end up a middleweight in a few years.

Middleweight should become stacked about the same time as WW though and hes still growing so he aint going down.

He better! Baldomir hasn't fought in a long while and is way past prime, so I do expect a KO from Alvarez.
