Being young does not garantee he will inprove forever. Devon had that same crazy hype, he still young. Do you see him improving? You never know when a fighter is gonna peak. So now each division leader is elite? theres only a handfull of elite fighters. Floyd, sergio, klitchko, marquez, rigo and ward. This is the bute hype all over again. He is good but just wait

Its a good question, and worth a debate, hate is a strong word, more like doubt, in my mind anyway.

I felt a good strong well schooled JrMW with high output could/would outwork Canelo, and I felt his punching ability was overrated.

I still feel Canelo lacks workrate and the judges scorecards in the Trout fight were somewhat ridiculous, I had Canelo taking the fight by 2 points, which if you take into consideration the KD I feel Trout may of won the fight had he not have been knocked down, which is of course pie in the sky because it was a clean heavy looking knock down despite the fact Trout recovered really well.

His punching ability is what it is, he is a good puncher as well as being a good boxer, he's a very skilled athlete, very strong, very composed and all round he is a very complete looking fighter who may make a good case for domination at 154-160 in the next 3-5 years.

For what its worth I think he would beat Mayweather, as the size difference is just too big for Mayweather to make up despite how good he is, but I think Martinez would have his way with Canelo, that would depend on what weight class the fight happens, 154 may drain Sergio being that he's been a MW for some 3 and a half years.

At 154 there are still big tests for Canelo but for me right now he rightfully takes his place as the number JrMW in the world.
