I see lots of people suggesting Canelo/GGG or Canelo/Sergio. I'd love to see those fights, but they aren't going to happen with the GBP/HBO feud.

However, given GBP promotes Alvarez and Quillin, I figure they can eventually fight at 160.

So, I ask ESB: who takes this one?

Canelo outboxes qullin. Power punches his way to a WIN!

If this happens in 1-2 years.

Would have to see Alvarez at 160, obviously.

It would be a chess match. Both of them are athletic and have power, but both of them are extremely (too ?) patient.

I hope GBP continues to put Canelo in there with Team Slicks fighters, they will be spending that PPV dollar just to see Canelo lose.... good times coming

I agree, Quillin isn't that good defensively and has an abysmal workrate/stamina; he has some power and accuracy/timing, but he's not the type of guy to exploit "Soulless" Saul's two biggest possible vulnerabilities (workrate and stamina.)

I predict another victory for The Haymon Slayer, but I was curious to see what other people think :good

Trouts biggest moral victory was the output he threw, you need that against saul. Or else he will pick you apart, Quilling will not outbox Canelo, and his offense is not the best either. So I see an easy win for Canelo, specially in 1-2 year when canelo is fully grown into 160. We have seen the best of Peter, but Canelo we have not.. Canelo hasn't even peaked.

Quillin by UD, or Stoppage. People say Quillin lets his foot off the pedal? Canelo is that to an extreme.

I think the Super fight at 160 will be Canelo bs Sergio martinez/GGG

but Martinez on his way out, so GGG CANELO will be the superfight.

It's funny cause they both takes breaks... but the thing is Canelo stays explosive the whole 12, Peter does not.. He is very explosive and powerful the first half but the second half he is just an average boxer and loses all explosiveness. I've studied him before and really liked how he fights early...

Canelo and peter would go at it for the first half or Canelo would negate all of peters offense and come on strong in the second half.

Canelo would beat Martinez if they fought in the next 6 months. He's leagues ahead of Kid Chocolate.

No doubt, peter is a good fighter but he is not on Canelos Level, GGG and Martinez are the big superfights that I hope happen in the next 1-2 years.

Canelo has May-Cotto- Lara on the horizon.

Peter sure was explosive against N'dam, flooring him 3 times in the 12th

WTF, why am I seeing a bunch of threads involving Canelo fighting true MIDDLEWEIGHTS? He barely gets past Trout and suddenly he's good enough to KO Golovkin? Canelo is at the top of 154 but he hasn't cleaned out that division yet.

Apparently with only one good win you can become better than Floyd or the new Willie Pep. Only on ESB.

Btw, Canelo beats none of the top 5 at MW. None.
