GGG beats not even Top 10 JR middleweights back to back, and he's seen as a beast. Don't be mad cause Canelo was the first to actually fight a real threat... GGG got another Irishman to worry about.

Its REALLY not, but thats besides the point. Quillin is dangerous the full 12 rounds, in BOTH hands.

Lets just leave a ? on that for now as I diagree, pillow fists NDAM gave him a tough ****ing fight, imagine a guy that can bang... Peter is easy to box and we know who the superior fighter will be in the ring regarding boxing ability, Peter is raw power I'll give you that Love how he fights early, but he also takes breaks, loses explosiveness and is easy to outbox the main points I would see his downfall being against Canelo.

    1) He didn't "barely" get by Trout. It was a clear Canelo victory. 114-113 Ginger to 116-111 Ginger are acceptable scores (I scored 115-112.) Trout does not have an argument for winning that fight from any unbiased observer.

    2) He is the clear #1 at 154, and the only person with a shot against him in the division is if Floyd decides to fight him. Otherwise, the Age of Alvarez is going to be in progress for a long time, until he can't make 154 anymore.

    3) He rehydrated up to 172. He's a big dude. Lots of middleweights rehydrate to those levels, including Quillin.

    4) I think he loses to both Golovkin and Martinez. Those are the two best guys at middleweight, and unless Sergio seriously slows down/ages/fights Golovkin, he'll hang onto the belt till he retires. Quillin isn't on their level, that's why I made the poll about Quillin, not those guys.

Due to points 1-4, it's a legitimate question. Quillin vs. Canelo would be a good entry to 160. And Alvarez will finish his career there, he's not going to be able to make 154 forever.

Let's hope it happens in 2014 whenever Canelo finishes his buisness at 154

And when he cant make 154 anymore, which will be probably within the next year or so, he's ****ed.

No stamina, ok power, short, no reach.

    ****ed. I say.

Ummm the showtime crew had the knockdown being the difference in the fight. 1 or 2 point wins with the benefit of the knockdown is barely. Unless you feel that the Golden Boy judges were fair lol!

If I recall correctly Quillin put the African dude twice on his a$$ in the last round, I haven't seen LRH A.K.A Canelo do that to anyone, I'll go with PQ, just like I'll go with Lara if they ever let him fight...

He chooses the weakest of them he ducks the threats to him.... I know this much, I dont think he beats Saul, I am on the books right now with it, Saul will beat Mayweather too bad Floyd doesnt have the balls to fight him likely he will take a dive with Guerrero first to get a rematch before he fights Saul

    Weakest?

    Hernandez
    Famoso
    Castillo
    Corrales
    Jesus Chavez
    Oscar
    Marquez
    Ortiz
    Guerrero

Quite a list of weak mexican fighters.

Hate to agree with Michigan but he's right here, but I'm sure this is one time where Michigan has to choose GGG instead of trolling threads to do with him as usual.

Malignaggi and the Showtime crew were very Pro-Trout; any unbiased observer can tell that much.

118-109 was too wide a card; the other two scores were correct.

Trout could probably fight at middleweight, he's a big ******* himself at 154, and Ginger put him down and buckled his legs with some regularity in the fight; his power is nothing to scoff at.

His stamina probably improves from having to cut less weight, it wouldn't be the first time fighters display a better gas tank after moving up. That remains to be seen, but cutting that much weight can't be good for his stamina.

If Canelo weren't a Ginger Mexican and was black, you'd probably be praising him for his slickness; Trout was missing multiple consecutive punches multiple times in numerous rounds during the fight, and Ginger landed all of the harder, cleaner blows in the fight. The Mexican brawler put on an excellent, surprising show of counterpunching skills and defense that Trout neither expected nor proved able to effectively adjust in response to.
