This is it for Cotto. After he gets abused by Canelo, he will either retire, or become a stepping stone for upcoming "real" champions.

No, this is the "LOL, look at GGG becoming the next Amir Khan begging for fights".

I like 3G's style and persona very much, but he needs to stop waiting around and start taking risks like the true legend he wishes to become.

This excuse only applies to anyone not named Golovkin right?

Once he collects all the belts at 160, nobody can duck him anymore.

What excuse? Only an idiot would not fight the opponent who allows them to make the most money at the current time. And in case you didn't notice, Canelo ducks no one. So if he beats Cotto, Triple Duck is likely to get his money fight against a smaller guy in Canelo, which he has been chasing for some time now. We know Triple Duck fears fighting Ward at 168 but does not hesitate to call out smaller guys for a payday. Do you know how stupid it sounds to say anyone is ducking Triple Duck and that he is not avoiding anyone for maximum financial gain?

I don't see Canelo beating Cotto

    Canelo doesn't have:
    the pressure (like margo)
the speed that troubles miguel (zab/shane/pac/may)
    one punch power
the gas tank to wear cotto down (like margo)

Meanwhile Cotto has good and when he needs (fairly) elusive footwork. He can hit and move and Canelo's not exactly great at cutting off the ring. Cotto's jab is better than Canelo's if only by virtue of the fact that Cotto USES it more often.

Canelo is a fluid combination puncher but he fights in spurts because he has stamina issues.

Anyway, I like Canelo, I don't think a close loss to Cotto ruins his career or anything. I just don't think he beats Miguel.

I don't get the hate on Cotto the guys is the most legit Champ at MW right now, and the only one who got his title vs an Actual Champion. Head to head I think skillwise Cotto can make it competitive for any MW out right now.

Ward is not in the same weight class as GGG, Canelo fights in GGG's weight class. You accuse GGG of wanting to fight smaller guys, yet do not accuse Ward of wanting to fight smaller guys like GGG. Monetary incentives are the reason GGG would fight Chavez and Froch at the full 168, but requests catchweights for Ward.

Not gonna lie, I actually do think Cotto is looking rejuvenated with Roach... I think its gonna be a solid fight, I don't count Cotto out here, at all.

Cotto's left hook is looking the most lethal it has EVER looked. Roach's footwork and offensive advice is paying off big time for Cotto.

Come on. He's been fighting @154 and 155. His request for 164 is because he knows he is not likely to defeat Ward unless he drains him.
