Plus Rios is with Top Rank and not GBP, plus Alvarado's in prison. I think Judah would be a bigger bite than Alvarez can chew at this point, and frankly might always be. Based on his style, strengths and weaknesses, he'll probably always have problems with quick slick fighters. He's really good, but he's not particularly fast.
He is the best prospect at Welter and he would beat the over hyped Kell Brook (who fought the same man 3 times and failed to stop him when others have). An Important thing to note is that he is only 19 and he turned pro when he was 15 because no amateurs wanted to fight him in Mexico.
i like canelo hes a Mexican fighter that actually has talent unlike the overratted angulo, chavez and arreola
Canelo IMHO is not ready for Zab yet but remember he is only 19. He is an exciting boxer, as said earlier he has good power at weird angels which is true. He is a hyped a little too much here in Mexico, the mexicans want him to fight Mayweather or Pacman, that would be a mistake. He may be champion one day if some supper talent does not get in the way, he is a big 147 pounder. He needs to use his jab more and set up his power shots of the jab, he has the reach and size but doesnt always use it. According to boxrec.com he is scheduled to fight at the MGM May 1 so he should be on the undercard. He is fighting March 6 against noone exciting but watch him if you get the chance. Theon
Damn, Alvarado is in prison? what stupid **** did he do? Well, I'll like to see him against a slick boxer, just to see what he can do? but not Zab Judah right now. I havn't seen too much of Mike Jones fight, I wouldn't go as far as calling him slick, but he can box. that might not be bad. thoughts on that?
I agree, he's very hyped in Mexico right now. Mexico is getting a little "desesperado" in looking for a new champion to carry the flag. I hope he don't get rushed into any high caliber fights when he's not ready.
