Alvarez harries him all the way, making him pay for the cute act. Trout won't be convincing too many pro judges he's "done enough" in many rounds here.

It was mainly because he was holding the WBA regular belt at the time which made me roll my eyes but he looked pretty decent vs Rodriguez

Canelo himself is vastly over rated, hes a ginger mexican, thats the main attraction

I say bring it on, I mean its Canelos best opponent to date

Everyone is always his best opponent to date, every single fight they say this same line, it always gonna be like this as canelo keeps stepping it up, guess what after this contenders? Lara-Cotto-Mayweather... canelo at 21 ain't far from the elite.

Name me a fighter at 21 that has a better resume?

If you can't give him props for more then his looks then you ain't a fan are borderline hater mode.

    True.

Everyone is his best opponent to date till he ****s them up on fight night...Then they become nobodies, washed up, never that good in the first place, ect, ect...

I guess when Canelo finally loses, then that guy will be considered the best opponent he has ever faced after the fight.

There ain't much out there if no one interested in seeing a title holder unify who was being talked a lot about until his subpar performance with a good contender in DROD.

Either Trout Lara or K9 Molina all winnable fights. and 50 50 would be the lara fight.

after that it's pretty much the Elite Cotto=mayweather=martinez

and everyone wants a shot at the cash cow.

vanes-Rosado calling him out-trout calling him out, wolak used to bark until he got owned by delvin, molina wants a shot at the best, People thowring out Ortiz name but its the same people that would probably talk **** and say why he ain't fighting someone his in his own class, or Quintana but haters already condemn that fight... Canelo is always in a lose lose situation with his naysayers.

I think at this point in time , Trout is the best option and good replacement for the Williams debacle.

After this he can take lara or the rest of the contenders but I have a feeling if he did fight the vanes, and rosados he would still not get credit, only elites will satisfy the naysayers.

alvarez beats that ass. . . im sure trout will take it out on the fans by doing his all to survive, though. . . he'll stop trying to win after the 5th round or so, and go in full retreat/dance mode. . . Canelo 119-109.

    I'd rather see Cornelius Bundrage/Canelo.

Trout wins a wide decision that is extremely close on the score cards.
Trout is a dangerous boxer (he can outskill you). He's solid all around skill
    level

Trout just doesn't have the offense needed to win an UD much less a TKO against Canelo. He's got defense but really lacks that offense and can't seem to really get into his rythm.

I really was hoping to see a better account of Trout being that he fights out of Las Cruces, a city just next to mine, and had met him couple of times. But after that fight ( Rodriguez ), I really don't see Trout beating Canelo.

I'm actually Surprised Team Slick ain't here talking there game... and Cubans don't see trout finding any Way he can win who resembles there main guy lara at 154 a lot with his slickness defense and counters... I mean this No Doubt guy just outboxed DROD a very experienced guy at 154 and who IMO ranked higher and was much more prime then Williams was who was Lara's biggest win.

I still believe Canelo beats both Trout and Lara.. and it's more of a high risk low reward thing then GBP actually being scared of fighting him... also Lara is Co Promoted making the Risk Higher in their eyes. That's all opinion and Like Cubans I may be Biased :yep but Canelo takes both fights, but I will say this Lara makes it much more competitive then any other contender out there not considering Elites like Cotto Mayweather Martinez.

I don't think Trout resembles Lara other than being a southpaw. Lara is more accurate with his shots and can put punches together a hell lot better. Lara is a rythm fighter with great footwork, where Trout gets into jerky movements with no rythm.

I do agree that Lara will make it more competitive than the other contenders out there.

the reason i dont see Trout winning in any way obey to different reasons.
first, i believe Canelo is good- not the greatest-but he's good.Doubting it makes anybody a fool.On top of his high quality he is a very protected fighter, a cash cow.To beat this guy you really have to beat the crap out of him.Trout doesnt have the power to carry that kind of performance,he could pull a Lara vs PW performance at his best but he is not gonna get away with the decision and we all know that.Like Lara did.
So far i have never seen Canelo in a controversial win- like chavez jr vs Molina1-2,Vanda1, Zbik and all the PED BS- Canelo is solid, is legit but he could lose one day and that wont diminish a bit his potential as a real p4p.
The reason why i liked his fight against PW its because he would've faced somebody who will be on top of him for 12 rds throwing punches.A real test-if PW was at least 80%.Trout cant do that.
