I think JMM is thinking about fighting Canelo later this year.
JMM is probably gonna wait how Canelo does on March 5th, and then accept his challenge to fight him.

I dont like canelo, nor JMM, but I like that they hate each other now, and contemplate on fighting each other.
It would be fun to see one beat the other. dont care who wins.

They both kick Soto's ass :deal

As for the topic, this is a ***** move by Canelo. Dude is getting offended by Marquez, who was just saying facts.

Somebody should inform Canelo that both Marquez and Beristain had flattering things to say about Canelo......they just happen to think that at the moment, there are more deserving fighters that should be given a chance at the juniormiddleweight title.

......and btw, more criticism is being directed at Mathew Hatton getting the juniormiddleweight title shot than is Canelo.

I think the criticism by Nacho was something along the lines, " I think Canelo may turn out to be a fine fighter, but there are more deserving fighters that should be given a title shot over him."

.......Canelo is taking as if his talents are being criticized, when that just is'nt the case.

Even though its 3divisions up Marquez may well knock the kid out. He was buzzed against Cotto (the poor 1), he has all sorts of holes in his defense

I know people who live in Mexico who are not boxing fans, yet they know who Canelo Alvarez is and would tune in to watch him fight.

Canelo is a hot item in Mexico, he's almost is what DLH was to boxing in the US......
If JMM were to go up to say 147 lbs and put a schooling on Canelo, he'd likely be hated by alot of casual boxing fans in Mexico.

I dont think Marquez beating up Canelo would be a good career move for him.:D

People are going ape ****? They'd probably welcome a Canelo vs Donaire fight, though.

Why isn't Marquez more loved in Mexico?

The fact that he was always in Barrera and Morales shadow might have something to do with it, and his style he used in the vast majority of his early career...Other than that, i have no clue why more mexicans dont enjoy him. Dudes style is beyond great and exciting IMO.

Pretty sad when kids like Chavez jr and Canelo are more popular than a great warrior like Marquez.

Is the kid willing to come down to 135 or 140 to fight JMM? If not then STFU. Marquez is an ATG. He's not stupid enough to move up two or three weight classes to challenge anyone who's not elite. Alvarez shouldn't be talking about anyone but Hatton right now.

That's absolutley ridiculous...Saul is huge and fights at 154...JMM looked tiny compared to Floyd Mayweather.

    Ridiculous.
