Yeah it happens. Dude in your Avi has been dropped by lower than middle level fighters aswell. (Not stunned down as in knocked down)

His defense is poor. He let Jose Cotto hit him too many times. If that was a 154 pounder doing that to him it would be over.

He was 19 years old, and there's this thing that young fighters do that's called 'improve'

This............................Which is why I'm having a hard time wrapping my finger around what some people see in Canelo. Lopez was laying hands on him.

One of the most vicuos combo punchers in the sport at the minute thats why.

Actually, he had more than that at the time. He had about 50 fights. A lot of fights he had were unsanctioned against cab drivers so they aren't listed.

He got hurt badly by a lightweight who lit him up. Alvarez hasn't fought anyone his own size and has cherrypicked every guy he's faced.

He also never looks explosive. He can throw combos and land against inferior lightweights and welterweights but he's not that special. He gets tagged way too much for someone with as many fights as he has.

Are you an actual fan of the sport?

Yeah. I appreciate good boxers. There are like 6 boxers today who are any good. Alvarez fights lightweights and welterweights. Every guy today is inferior to a boxer of yesteryear because they don't know the basics.

Zero defense, low hands, and all offensive type boxers.

    That's most boxers today.

That hilariously ineffective head bopping defence needs to be replaced with someone a bit smarter if he plans on fighting FMJ
