Don't know to much about Jose Miguel Cotto, but his record is pretty good. I don't know enough to make a decision, but maybe the more seasoned fans can give some suggestions.

Oh what the hell I will make a prediction. Judging by his 12 round decision loss to Juan Diaz who is a B level fighter I say if El Canelo is any good, KO 9.

Cotto is a little small to fight at 147 and Alverez has some pop so I see this ending early.

Alvarez wins impressively. GBP is doing this to market Alvarez and give the general American public exposure to him. They wouldn't pick a guy he can't beat.

  6. Yeah Cotto's fights are mostly at lightweight, and he's not all that good. El Canelo is a big welterweight... I don't see this going very well for Cotto.

I hope GBP doesn't mess canelos career, he us still raw and needs to work on his defense more, a nice defensive oriented trainer will be great for him.

Depending on how Jose comes into the fight i see this being a really good fight..But i agree with PBfred Cotto is kinda small for 147 so it might just very well end early

Alvarez should finish between rounds 3-5. Cotto is predictable and come right at you so I expect him to walk into a big right hand.

That's true..and Diaz is a small LW. But it should be a good scarp, Cotto is no push over and he has decent skills.

Floyd sr. is a good option, but I was thinking in a mexican like "El Cholain" Rivero, he was the one that help Oscar with his defense. Another good one too is Nasseem Richardson.
