Took a few hits from O'Sullivan strong puncher, some hellacious uppercuts from a good accumulation puncher in Eubank Jr, And the few decent right hands lemieux landed where merely light refershments for Billy. Never been down, Never been hurt, slickest mw for along while!
Punches from big bums doesn't really prove too much. Wait until GGG's jab starts to land. That's the real test.
Big Middleweights like Golovkin and Jascobs could Crack that Chin....He has a Great Chin but I don't think it's Granite.!!!
There's no better longevity combo than being a good defender with a really good chin. A lack of discipline between fights could negate that, though, so let's hope he's got a handle on his lifestyle these days.
No chance. BJS sees everything coming a mile off. His head movement and pivots away from danger are first class. I don't see GGG able to cut the ring off against him.
Mystic Gypsy powers combined with Ingle infused Sheffield steel have made an untouchable chin unbreakable, BJS 2.0 is too much for boxing to deal with
I've just finished watching GGG v Lemieux, and GGG's jab was a thing of beauty. Two things that stuck out for me was GGG's speed, his jab was rapid and hard, its not as fast now and hes pushing his punches imo. The other thing was, Lemieux took chances even when getting beaten time and time again to the punch, he tried, not just walking forward like against Saunders. I know movement had Lemieux ****ed, but he didn't even get wreckless trying or lunging, like he accepted he was going to lose in rapid time and just went through the motions. I think Billy Joe intimidated him in all honesty prior to the fight and in the fight !
Solid. All his career his chin has never ever looked even slightly shaky at any point. The complete opposite of Amir Khan for example.
