In decades of following boxing, every once in a while there a guy you wish to see knocked out badly. Intead of wishing for a good scrap or an exciting match. You just want to see that guy fall feets over head. Then that scourge of yours is put against a ko artist and all youre hopes ignites. Its do rarely happens, most of the time its a disapointment. But this time, i think its the one. The one time when ill get to rejoice in the brutal downfall of the object of my hatred. Lemieux will send Billy Bob flying over the third rope and into the crowd. Its going to be thugnificent! Dont miss the show saturday, it wil be awsome.
David is far too slow for BJS, he's not getting anywhere near him, even if he does I don't see him knocking him out in one shot, BJS lasted 6 rds with Eubank Jr on an empty gas tank and survived. I still expect BJS to lose from politics if that gets your juices flowing.
Hate BJs but SD victory for him Saturday night. At the very least I hope lem makes him chicken dance at some point
I dont know, Dave as show good boxing skills once in a while. I some fights he has even shown defence and used both hands. But usually i think, is power rots is brain with over confidence that turns to just hope in later rounds. But if he can just stay focused and strategic long enough, i think Saunders is right there for the picking.
Has he taken tricks for Ward's handbook as well now? That will make is destruction all the more enjoyable, because i may wish is brains to be squished like a skank on interstate 90. But i have too much empathy for balls mistreatment. Bj sauders is getting blown to the sky saturday and youre going to enjoy it.
Lol same here,Lemieux has provided us with some highlight reel knockouts but he’s also had a few point wins against duff opponents,I’m thinking a fit motivated Saunders will be too much for Lemieux, just hope he doesn’t win by stinking the joint out?
But bull**** aside, i think this fight can be exciting. BJS looks like he may be in the best shape of his career, Lemieux is looking strong as well. But i have the gut feeling Lemieux will catch him, is boxing skills are underated and without an excelent jab he will get punches in. BJS however can get sloppy and forget the jab and intead try to rely on is defence alone, if he falls in this pattern even in the late rounds he is toast
David Lemieux has been taught boxing by Russ Amber since he was a kid. Now Lomachenko, when he turned pro, asked Amber to be in his corner. So did Fazliddin Gaibnazarov (which of course you don't know of), so did the great D. Wilder. David got skills, a lot of them, and hit hard and fast. He moves fairly well. His problem is his short, T-Rex arms. He has to get close, he has no choice, he can't circle around and for some people that circling arounds means skill while it also take a lot of skills when your only way to win is to get in the inside.
GGG wore down David working behind his accurate, powerful jab, and finishing him when there was an opening. BJS works off the back-foot, is more elusive than GGG on the back-foot and is faster than GGG. He may catch him, I just don't see it.
