Lemmy in 4. BJS will over commit with the jab, Lemmy will land counters and BJS will be stuck on the ropes. BJS likes to backup in a straight line and he has that stale peek a boo guard. BJS doesn't know how to keep distance, except with that power jab of his(turns his hips often when jabbing).
GGG always threw the jab when Lemmy sat down on his front leg. It would be interesting to see if BJS can pick up on the same pattern.
hoping David ko's him I can't stand BJS hes arrogant. unfortunately I got a feeling bjs will outbox david to a Ud. it all depends on if david can land a big punch in the first 4 rounds to be honest.
Lemieux has the power to knock Saunders out cold!!! Golovkin would have knocked Saunders out, but Saunders refused to fight him.............
I dont think Billy Joe Saunders is that good really. who ever wins this unless it's a draw has got the best win of their Career. 4 of BJS last 5 fights have been (on the cards) 7-5 wins or a 6-6 win where he scored 2 knockdowns. he had trouble 2 fights ago with a much more limited opponent than DL and got what many people feel was a gift. I know Saunders claims he has amazing stamina because he switched camps but your biggest weakness doesn't become your strength over night. Though maybe it can get a little better. I think David Lemieux wins the early rounds maybe 3-3 after the first 6. and wins maybe 2 of the last 4 of the second half. having less on his punches late and getting too much credit for them but get's the nod anyway. If Oscar wants Lemieux to win it will be a stacked deck. But, Saunders might know that he had 4 Close fights in his last 5. knows he is the B side on HBO and fairly unknown in the USA, lots of NON forum posters watch boxing too. knowing that a close decision probably wont go his way unless Canelo vs Saunders makes more sense to Oscar. This fight could bring out the best of him, maybe he was unmotivated at times. I expect it to be a lot of chasing Lemiux landing on him as he runs or tries to use movement likely both men tire, lemieux is able to land combos late that don't have a lot on them as after 6 rounds his punches seem to lack power.
Just depends what you mean by not that good,if you’re comparing him to Hagler or Leonard then fair enough but in the middleweight div he rightly holds a belt after beating Lee and prior to this Eubank Jnr,my criticism of him has been what he’s done since winning the belt, just like Tyson Fury his pal he just seemed to live off the past and got really fat,him moving trainer and camps is absolutely what he needed and proved to me at least that he is serious about this, believe me a fit motivated Saunders is a handful for anyone as apparently he wasn’t 100% against Eubank or Lee. Guess we shall find out at the weekend but for those thinking Lemieux wins maybe they should ask themselves if Lemieux is anywhere near as good as Eubank or Lee and I say not,Lemieux has a that chance of putting his lights out just like he had against GGG and at some point he will land on Saunders but Saunders hasn’t looked hurt yet to me and can clearly take a punch. This isn’t the result I want but I’ve got a nasty feeling Saunders might do an Andre Ward and nullify Lemieuxs power and stink the joint out in a points win shutout?
Look at Saunders last 2 fights. He won’t be any different. He is the easiest way to a middleweight championship. The longer it goes, the bigger beating Saunders gets.
I hope youre right but only chance Lemiux has is to catch him or some how maul him but I dont know.. Hes so slow too..
