Saunders could of quit during the round he got his shattered eye socket or take a knee

I don't have an issue if a boxer quits or not. It's his health he has to watch out for. None of us are going to take care of his medical bills.

Whether he quit or really needed to stop for medical reasons only he, his doctor, and team would know.

 

It's nothing to brag about that he covered up for 1 minute and change and didn't quit right in the middle of the round. Man you're pathetic trying to act like Saunders not quitting in the middle of the ring somehow showed courage. Saunders was fighting on pure instinct after he got smashed by that uppercut. He had no clue where he was. He went back to his corner and quit. There's no honor in getting your face smashed then quitting on your stool.

Nobody in their right mind wants to see a fighter badly hurt or God forbid end up dead in the ring. Having said that some fighters, like BJS, put that tag on themselves by calling others out and giving it the big “I’m willing to die in the ring” talk. Was the fight correctly stopped? Absolutely. The fact is though BJS went to his stool and didn’t come back.
