    So it’s all over Twitter, Ramirez vacated and the WBO have Saunders in the SMW rankings.

    Billy Joe about to become two-weight champ. Can’t wait for the meltdown.

    Could be something to do with it...

    Eubank Sr did say on IFL last week that he expects Jr to drop back down to Middle after this weekend's fight but money talks.

    With Ramirez out of the picture though, Saunders might see the vacant WBO at 168 as "easy pickings". Maybe if he wins that it could be bait to lure Golovkin up for a challenge, which would be smart IMO because extra weight will slow down Golovkin even further. I think a fight with Canelo or Golovkin would be more advantageous for Saunders at 168 because he's naturally larger than both.

    I am more baffled by Ramirez decision to move up, he hasn't looked spectacular at super-middleweight and now he is moving up to the most dangerous division right now.

    So basically we have GGG signing with DAZN.

    Ramirez should be made to face Yarde in a final eliminator before becoming mandatory for Kovalev...

    I think them days are gone now bud, seems to have filled out a bit like us dads do. Apart from Callum Smith, i’d fancy him to beat any of the other 168’s. Absolute class fighter.

    Just to add, I think he’s been an avoided fighter at 160.

    Yeah I agree totally. I think people sometimes underestimate Saunders' size because he's a bit flabby. He is a big lad, even when in there with Lee, who for me was quite a large MW, Saunders sized up well.

    I think there are some brilliant stylistic match-ups for Saunders at 168. Against Plant for instance, great fight although hardly a "money" fight.

    I think he’s definitely been avoided. Skill wise he’s one of the best. Without a belt nobody will fight him. He should have fought Andrade and then went for GGG imo.

    He announced this morning on IG that he and Frankie boy have a press conference lined up this afternoon to announce his next move. I guess all will be known in a few hours.

    I don't get his inactivity one bit. He isn't in demand like Mayweather, doesn't excite like AJ, and doesn't take on the best out there.

    It will be a great day for British Boxing when this man retires. His career is a state.
