Your totally right Murray should have been a world champion, factors just went against him. He always got chances away from home, had judges decisions that were against him unfairly so. Another big thing I think that went against him was not having an established big promoter till he was past his best, as if he had I bet he would have got some big chances on home soil or against easier opponents. I also think his corner should have pulled him out after 6 or 7 rounds v Golovkin as we could all see he was taking too much punishment and with fact he does not have a big punch he never had a punchers chance v Golovkins granite chin. At his best arguably the best British fighter to never win a world title over the last 15 years.
I agree mate, he needed pulling out in that fight and definitely the fight with Groves by round 8. The single and double shots he took in that fight left him a shell. He’s never had that big shot and he’s not had the punch output to compensate for that. I think from a BJS perspective, he needs to aim to make a statement by trying to do what only one man has succeeded in doing and that’s stopping Murray. That would be very impressive.
Dont be silly 20! Its called healthy debate. Anyway.... you're entitled to your opinion...that'll change though when I come to power!!!
If he stops Murray it would be impressive buy I would surprised. Billy has decent power but isn' a massive puncher and Murray can take a shot. I think Billy will win too with ease to be honest. As you rightly say Martin's punch out put isn't very good and he's not a big puncher. I might be wrong but I think it will be a boring fight to watch.
I don’t think he’ll stop him either, but I think that’s the only way he’s going to come out of this with any great kudos.
