He's vacated the WBO belt and now he's stuck.. He has to fight high risk/low reward fights to get a belt back at middleweight.

There was talk earlier this year about Groves v BJS at super-middle so he clearly is able to move up.

At super-middle there's Groves, degale/eubank winner and of course Canelo (if he stays at the weight).
As a BJS fan I'd love to see them fights and they surely do big numbers here in the UK so makes decent money.

    Nope

The middle-super middleweight gap is one of the larger ones in boxing.

Middle is full of big welters and super welters

Super middle is full of dieted down light heavies, can you imagine BJS vs Callum smith?

I've got no interest in BJS cherry picking fights at 168 he should keep going at 160 he can come back from all of this.

Wait to canelo wins at 168 and vacates the 160 belt, plenty to play for in the middleweight division in the next few months. Id expect Murata, Jacobs and Andrade to hold the belts going into 2019, all very good, hard but winnable fights for BJS.

I think Canelo will come back down to MW. I think his team know he was lucky to get the decisions he got v GGG and are buying time with regards to a potential 3rd match up. The fact Canelo is not having his next fight at 160ib will take away alot of immediate demand for the rematch.

Canelo has spotted a weak 'champion' in Fielding who he can beat and add another weight title to his legacy. He won't be sticking around at that weight to find himself up against Smith or similar.

Naturally. Otherwise how could I be so definite about his future plans? I'd be talking out of my arse about something I could at best only be hazarding a guess about.

Smith is an exception, not everyone is 6’3 haha. Smith v anyone looks like a mismatch
I just think business wise the bigger fights are at super middle for him now

I would have agreed with you if Degale was still a belt holder, before he agreed the Eubank fight and particularly if he was still with Warren. Saunders could have beat the crap out of Degale and then come back down to 160. He should maybe disregard the title scene for a while, attend Eubank-Degale ringside on December 8 and then make a scene and call out Eubank when he inevitably wins.

A Eubank-Saunders rematch at any weight will do big numbers on PPV for BT Sport.

Nooooooo! Why put Jr in against actually good boxers! This is Team Eubank's big mistake.....

CEJ needs to be fed utter plodders who he can get in-and-out against, fight ambush style and get some spectacular Wilder-esque KOs. Then I can start trolling about him again.
Why d'you wanna spoil my fun CutThroat???

Even DeGale's animated skeleton could win rounds against Eubank before he (hopefully) lands a big ol' bomb. Then another.....and another....and eventually gets his KO! Yaaay!

I'm just hoping DeGale has sold a kidney/lung/leg and won't put up much resistance or try and actually box.
    I don't need the stress.......

Saunders shouldn't have a boxing license. A vile, gross, disgraceful human being.

I’ve said this many times but they’re not role models, they’re fighters. There’s no denying his behaviour is odd and socially deplorable...but so is giving up your kids to a stranger in America.
