it's impossible to prove that Canelo cheated due to the high probability of meat contamination. however I've never heard a nasal spray as an excuse for failing a test for a substance. Canelo's "excuse" is much more widely accepted by the drug testing community as legitimate than Saunders "excuse". Victor Conte also stated that what Billy Joe Saunders took is ten fold more powerful than what Canelo took.

So you do the math, Saunders is a much worse drug offender than Canelo who may not have cheated at all may have just eaten a contaminated piece of meat accidentally. Whereas Saunders was literally putting stuff up his nose that he knew was illegal. Not only that but Saunders had just been fined 100K for a disturbing video that surfaced. CJ you should be able to recognize that what Saunders did is much worse and much more worthy of criticism and mockery than what Canelo did. In a way, I'm glad Saunders lost his belt. He was hardly active as a champion and didnt seem all that interested in boxing, to be honest. It was almost as though the belt didnt really matter to him.

Hopefully Andrade or someone will represent that belt better.
