Not really. Eddie Hearn has waxed lyrical about Saunders for a long time. You only need to have a look at some of the IFL interviews where Hearn has spoken openly about how he would like to BE HIS PROMOTER. This whole discussion started from Tony Hayers false assertion that nobody wants to promote Saunders. Completely false. Hearn has made offers literally to promote him, not be an opponent. By all accounts ESPN are interested in signing Saunders to a similar arrangement to Fury so again that dispels that myth that he is “not promotable”. I’m baffled that this warrants so much explanation.

But I didn't say nobody wanted to promote Saunders. I said he's unpromotable as an A side, because all the evidence suggests he is. No fans, no belt, acts like an idiot, doesn't stop people, fights in leisure centres when he's defending his world title.

Where is the evidence that he's got 'massive commercial potential?' At the minute it seems confided to the inside of your mind.

Anyone is promotable as long as they’re willing to put in the effort. Tyson Fury has had “racism” “gay” and cocaine controversies, he’s been banned for taking PEDs. Look at him now. That’s all because he dragged his fat arse up and got himself in gear. Billy Joe hasn’t quite grasped that yet. He’s probably the most talented boxer in Britain but he causes all his own problems. No promoter can help him if he won’t help himself.

I’m not a promoter. You need to ask that question to your bumlord Hearn and maybe ask him why he made such a large offer to promote him under the Matchroom banner.

That's genuinely up for debate. Billy is a slick southpaw who when on his game, is extremely hard to tag. Canelo would likely take him lightly, believing he can KO him, which I don't believe he can. I see Canelo loading up heavy and missing all night.

Of course Billy would likely be robbed on the cards, and a rematch would probably be closer. But I honestly believe Billy could catch Canelo cold if they were to fight in the near future.

If Saunders was from anywhere else I think he’d get a lot more accolades for his skill levels. For starters, we wouldn’t hear of half of the stupid things he does.

He fights like a Cuban rather than someone from Hatfield.

I think you’re understating Canelo a bit too be honest. He’s unbelievable. Billy Joe is very talented but he’s going to go up against someone who will be known as an ATG in his prime here and would ultimately come up short.

I think Billy Joe beats Canelo on points but would never get a decision. Canelo is not some unbeatable beast, yes he was younger and less experienced when he boxed Lara and Mayweather but at times he was clueless in both fights. Saunders would tie him in knots and Saunders has a very good chin having eaten Andy Lee’s punches with ease. The very little Lemieux landed had no impact either.

Saunders is also naturally bigger than Canelo. Canelo is sticky and very muscular but Billy Joe has the larger frame.

I think Saunders beats everyone at Middleweight - that’s not an absurd claim at all and that’s probably why Hearn made him such a big offer.

I agree. BJS at his very best could beat any of the current MWs even Canelo (given fair scorecards) and GGG . He's the most skilled pure boxer and is big for the weight which helps.

But i fear we'll never see BJS at his very best. He has real attitude issues.

Canelo arguably lost twice to a well past it Golovkin recently. He's not unbeatable. Billy is much quicker on his feet, has the slick southpaw style and would be very tough to hit. Canelo can be hit.

    It's a close fight IMO.

I think Hearn wanted him as cannon fodder for Andrade.

Yep an eight-figure bid for "cannon fodder". Seems legitimate.

That wasn't for one fight was it. Tell you what I'll do, I'll bet you £100 Saunders ,if he ever faces them ,loses to both Canelo and Jacobs, how's that?

Your assertion that Hearn viewed him as 'cannon fodder' contradicts the quote above don't you think? If Hearn genuinely views Saunders as cannon fodder do you not think it would be commercially idiotic to feed him with such a big offer? Has Jarrell Miller been given a fight package like that? Keep deluding yourself though, it is entertaining to see you trying to convince yourself that Hearn wasn't really interested in Saunders despite me posting a video yesterday of Hearn confirming he made a massive offer and expressing great disappointment in not signing him.

As for your "bet" offer, yeah that seems sensible. Agree to a bet with an anonymous nobody on an online forum. What a walloper you are.
