Good points all. Very astute observations there. I also agree with what you said above about BJS beating him in the first half on skills even though Eubanks has better physical abilities. And Eubanks does still look very raw.
I think the next time Eubank will start earlier and not give away the early rounds like he did last time. When he realized that he was losing, he turned the heat up and won the last few rounds. Essentially, he lost through hesitation. I think he knows this and won't make the same mistake twice. He'll have to come across the ring like Jacobs did to Quillin and completely overwhelm him with brute force.
In his last fight he threw bombs until he gassed at the beginning of every round. Then he'd take a minute off to recuperate. He needs to learn how to fight three minutes of every round.
Idk man, you said spike was going to beat Eubank Jr, and that didn't work out..:conf I have to believe Eubank will be far better in the rematch if/when they fight.
Eubank is an offensive force no doubt, but Billy Joe would mug him off with counters all day. Junior would have to hurt him early I think, not that I'd rule it out.
Yeah and I also had no chance to win in Kirk's thread last year either, if I did I'd have neeeevvvveeeer eeevvveeerrr gone with Spike.:yep
Who does fight 3 minutes of every round? I think @ 160 jr comes the closest by a long way (not counting sheer volume fighters like Geale who can not be considered elite) In Jr last few fights he has fought hard for the first 6 rounds then slowed down because he's miles ahead, but still easily outworking his opponents and Blackwell was meant to have a better tank then him?
