i think both showed limitations in different ways.

bjs is a very cute boxer, a good ring general, good at controlling position. the thing is that he is neither super fast, nor a big puncher. that will give him trouble at world level........but a world title is not out of the question.

cej is a solid puncher, very athletic and physically strong. his problem is his lack of top amateur schooling and weak pro opposition. he often makes amateurish mistakes that make him look very clumsy and unbalanced. doing a bit of posing is fine, as is being awkward. but you need fundamental boxing to fall back on. his problem is that at 25, these "bad habits" are hard to correct. thats why starting young is so important.
against a serious puncher, this could mean real trouble. while eubank is more exciting to watch, i believe his career at world level has a lower sceiling.

i agree with you the showboating against very poor journeymen was sickening and showed how much a ***** he is

when New Zealand beat a poor team by over 100 points they don't even celebrate the tries or showboat

same when top soccer teams hammer other teams in friendlies they don't go crazy and act with that sort of arrogance

why should eubank be given a pass for treating journeymen(the backbone of the pro game) with such disrespect

Presume u mean BJS apparently will get first shot at the winner of Matt Korobov v Andy Lee.
Do you rate those two above BJS or Eubank? Are they deserving of a world title shot? Are they world class?

(Personally I have far less problem with BJS getting a title shot than either of those two. So much so that I have Nino hesitation in saying he probably beats either of them handily)

I Think BJS beats mostly everyone. beats lee, probably beats murray aswell, based on martins recent uninspiring perfomances. dont know about korobov much, nor quillin. he probably beats rubio, geale. Bjs is definitely worthy of a title shot, because there aint many better. Not many better boxers than saunders, its just his size and lack of power that might stop him. but he aint featherfisted by a long stretch there is just stronger bigger men in the 160lb division.

eubank jnr is a disgrace, his attitude will make sure he never comes champion.

and the way his dad treats his sons little talent as another shot at fame, the both of them need ending. I think they will be out of the sport in 12-18 months tops

He wants to retain this air of coolness and arrogance so doesn't like having the cornermen talking to him, epsecially when they're telling him he's losing and needs a knockout. All very pathetic from the Eubanks.

not really. i mean i can see where you are coming from.......both carrying their hands low and posing a little bit.

but i think froch is in a different league talentwise. better balance, better movement. better technique. better power.

and most importantly: a much much better JAB!

yeah i noticed a while back that froch moves better and thats a bad sign for him, but just near the end rounds it just really reminded me of froch when he started stalking saunders and throwing everything at him.
