I don't like Eubank attitude, not showing up for press conference being disrespectful, BJS has came up the hard way, Eubank jr is living off his dads name, that's the only reason he has got this fight, he has fought a string of bums and is being talk about as the next big thing its all hype that fools like you feed in to, also take the sand out of your vadge , who cares if he made some comments about shirt lifters

id opt for the third option: a talented fighter, but no mayweather. or a mclellan type puncher.

    saunders will beat him.

Fair enough, but I don't think Eubank has had it as easy as you say. You can see he puts the work in at the gym for one and doesnt balloon up in weight after fights, which you cant say Saunders does to the same degree.

Many people inside boxing rate Eubank but I guess those guys are just fools too, right.

And I'm sorry but BJS making comments like that about Eubank Snr is especially pathetic, maybe I just hold people to a higher standard but if that is acceptable to you then happy days.

You've told me why you don't like Eubank but havent told my why you are such a die hard supported of BJS. Why is that, because there is hardly anything to like?

sure, a nice looking ko. but the guy he was fighting looked like he wanted out/for a nice place to fall.

all in all, he produced what had to be expected against this level of opposition.

lets face it: basically you are saying that eubank is the real deal cause other people "in the know" say so.

while i totally agree that these people saying this are experts......here is a little something to think about. Emanuel stewart is an expert, i think we can all agree, right?
not so long ago, emanuel stewart referred to hector camacho jr. as "the complete package" and even went as far as saying that he was gonna be better than his father. well, we all know how that went.

It just shows that everyone can be wrong, and no one gets it right all the time. Boxing is a very unpredictable sport. Especially when talking about little known prospects.

Doesn't mean you are a fool if you get it wrong, or that your a.nalysis was necessarily faulty. You work with whatever set of information you have, even if its largely incomplete as in this case.

iv seen quite a few comments on various threads saying BJS's upbringing was so much tougher than eubanks , this is not necessarily true , are you basing this just because he is from a travelling family , if so then this is only some way correct and also someway wrong , yes it is a tough life as fighting is in there breeding and they do it from a very young age but they also are a very tight group of people and have wonderful family values that are never separated and more or less keep themselves very private .

the eubank situation is somewhat different , jnr was sent off to boarding school at a young age and then later on was sent away to america for quite some time learning his trade to become a boxer where he won a golden gloves .

so depending on how you stand on tough upbringings , i would say being sent away from your family for what would be a serious amount of time or being bought up within a close nit family but having to travel around only mixing with your own kind is a matter of opinion .

whos to say which is the tougher upbringing unless you have been on both sides .

What if its a knockout or a wide decision for Eubank, how would it be a travesty?Saunders keeps referring to the payday Eubank is getting, its safe to say both are getting their biggest check to date and they both need the other to get it.

I've got a lot of respect for saunders putting his titles and mandatory spot on the line in a fight he didn't have to take but its all down to him calling Eubank out repeatedly.

I'm going with the old saying that it takes 10,000 hours of hard work and study to master any given discipline. Chris Eubank Jr has been putting in the gym time consistantly whilst Billy joe Saunders has himself admitted he slacks off or has only trained halfheartedly in the past (shades of Ricky Hatton). I think he has a nasty shock coming as, no matter how good they are, skills can quickly diminish and the once extraordinary can be made to look ordinary against talented and more dedicated opposition.

they were all asking the same question when eubank SR faced Nigel Benn for the WBO middleweight title. After that fight eubank became a household name, chat shows, etc. Eubank JR will smash saunders tonight and will prove all the doubters wrong.

    Outwork? No.

Ou-tbox? Possibly. I think either one out-boxing the other is possible. If Jr does out-box Saunders it will be by landing better, harder, more effective punches, landing a higher % of his punches and making Saunders miss. Not necessarily landing or throwing more punches than Saunders.

And Benn had beaten DeWitt and Barkley and Sanderline Williams, even blew Tim Williams away in no time years previous. 12 rounds with John Ryder and drawmaster Blackwell don't compare. Benn was streets and streets ahead of Saunders. And Ronnie Davies insists Eubank Jr is already better than Eubank Sr ever was!

Have to remember alot of the boxers saying Saunders will win are completely biased. Macklin owns the gym Saunders has been training in, O'Sullivan and him are buddies. Blackwell seems objective but even then I wouldn't be totally sure he is being 100% genuine.
