Really looking forward to a couple of fights tonight. Obviously the Hopkins-Dawson one but for me, the most intriguing, technical fight tonight will be Jhonny Gonzalez-Elio Rojas. Both guys are classy technicians so it should be good to see. Regarding, Hopkins-Dawsonn I really think this is Bernard's to lose. I can see it being fairly competitive in the opening rounds with Dawson getting some success as B-Hop works his way into the fight but I'd expect Hopkins to take over in the 2nd half of the fight when he's worked out his angles and really dominate Dawson on the inside. I reckon he'll take it fairly clearly on points. Gonzalez-Rojas should be a belter too though. Gonzalez is possibly one of the best combination punchers in the sport at the moment no doubt and that left hook is scarily good. But I think Rojas could stylistically be wrong for him, his jerky in and out style and nice speedy combo's are tricky to deal with. I think he can evade the left from Gonzalez enough if he's on song and take this by decision. Gonzalez has been knocking everyone out early recently so we don't know how much he will have in the tank whilst Rojas is a solid 12 round fighter. WAR B-Hop!!!!
I thought the Murphy-Gill fight was televised, but it isn't on the Eurosport schedule? Good opening fight so far.
