"I'm all about the details Koogs, I go through the contracts line by line and iron out all the wrinkles, if what I do best
I put in the rematch clause for Warringtons keep busy fight, it would be negligent if I didn't, it's what a promoter does, it's what's a great promoter does, he looks after all the details"

    Now it will be..

"Well Koogs, I gave Billy Joe multies, I like the man, people told me not to work with him because he is trouble but I put my trust and faith in him... but what more does he want, I put it all on a plate for him and then turns around and expects me to sort out fair judges, the gloves, the ring size, I'm not even getting in to the 70,000 fans that were not suppose to be there and all that nonsense... look I'm just the promoter, I'm not a miracle worker, I just do deals, I'm all about numbers, I gave them a deal and they signed it"

Fact is Saunders saw the ££ and the no rehydration and probably signed without doing his due diligence. It is his manager and legal teams job to ensure these things are written in to a contract. He openly critiques Canelo for giving himself all the advantages then does goes by a handshake agreement for a key element, given his style. Utter Trollope and mind games on Saunders part for me.

I’m hoping he’s just trying to rile Canelo up so his game plan goes out the window and he just goes in trying to take his head off.

That said, I think there are a number of ways Canelo is able to win this, by either boxing or brawling.

    You utter cretin

Do you really think that Saunders lawyers and legal team got sent a contract, seen the purse and no rehydration clause, and then thought **** reading the rest of this let's just sign it?

This is just one in a long long line of excuses BJS makes up.

BJS knows he is leagues below Canelo and needs the biggest ring possible to avoid having his head knocked off and being able to see the final bell.

I think you’re being a bit naive there. Saunders has a pretty extensive property portfolio from what I understand. He clearly has a proper management and legal team that help him with his investments so it goes without saying they will have reviewed the contract on his behalf. Probably MTK. By all accounts if there is nothing in the contract addressing ring dimensions then it is a **** up for all parties concerned. Then again I have no idea whether it is standard practice to specify that in a fight contract. But you’d imagine that whenever you have a “bull v matador” fight where one boxer is clearly going to try to move around the ring as much as possible you’d think it has been addressed.

Bottom line is that if there is nothing specifying ring dimension in the contract, either party is entitled to try and negotiate on it to their advantage.

Hearn should be ****ting himself though because no Saunders = no PPV.

It was more tongue in cheek than anything - I didn’t honestly think him or any other professional would not read a contract etc.

The fact is he was happy to sign and is now playing a few mind games that’s all.

And what is wrong with that you chicken nipple?

Would you not want the same, and gain any advantage you could to get the win...

I don’t think any party comes out of this looking good. Especially MTK who are supposed to be looking after Saunders’ interests.

Like I said, none of us here have expertise in boxing management and fight contracts. But it goes without saying that we all know that Saunders’ chances rest on him being able to move freely around the ring so if anyone of us were representing him we’d have been negotiating for a large ring pre-contract.

No, chicken tit. I'm saying BJS is already well aware he can't beat Canelo, and he wants the biggest ring possible so he can run all night and see the final bell without having his head knocked into the 5th row

You were talking about naivety above, I think it’s pretty naive to believe that it was an issue when doing the contract because why would it be? Saunders has never boxed in a ring above 20 feet, so he can’t do what he’s done before in the same size ring?

He’s never boxed a guy like Canelo before. Canelo cuts off the ring better than anyone else in the sport right now especially since Golovkin has regressed a little. It’s not surprising at all that he wants a larger ring than he’s used to.

It's the governing bodies that set the size or the rings. Under BBBC in UK it's 16 to 20 ft, a y contracts in UK and the ring has to be no more than 20 and no less than 16ft

Pretty sure thats just for domestic fights though. Any world title or org sanctioned fight can be up tp whatever their rules are. WBC is 16 to 24ft for eg. Most national bodies is 16 to 20.

It’s not surprising he wants it obviously but why should he get it and why should he expect it?

Ye you're right, I just wasn't sure what each organisation is. Didn't know the wbc is up to 24ft...However that's the size of the ring floor, not inside the ropes. BBBC doesn't stipulate inside ropes size, the 16 to 20 ft is floor size, it is up to been meddled with, using larger turnbuckles etc. Technically speaking u could have a 20ft ring with inside ropes if 14ft.

But you do not know that.

Maybe just maybe BJS can do it, and i have said before i believe he can, he has the ability to win a decision, it remains to be seen if he will get that decision, so why shouldn't he try and get what he wants to enable him to do it, you would.

Such a ferret arse you are.
