Technically he is leagues above him :deal I agree with what some other posters have suggested.. It will be similar to Sergio Martinez vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jnr or Joe Calzaghe vs Jeff Lacy Of course Saunders isn't as good as Calzaghe or Martinez.. but technically... in overall skill, technique, amateur pedigree, ring IQ, speed, defence, he is gonna play with Eubank Jnr for most of the fight. In his fight with gary o Sullivan. ( probably the best performance Ive seen from Saunders) he was schooling him beautifully and showboating and talking to him in there, I think it's gonna be similar... Saunders is gonna make him look stupid and be talking to him in the ring all night.
if Saunders fought Eubank Jnr in an amateur 3 round fight would beat Eubank Jnr 100 times out of a 100. :deal Saunders has gone the full 12 round distance plenty of times against good opposition.. so why will he not just completely take him to school for 12 rounds :deal Eubank Jnr hasn't fought absolutely nobody, he's fought complete stiffs and struggled with Tyan Booth, Terry Carruthers and Jason Ball For ****s sake. He has virtually no amateur pedigreee. :deal You must be completely crazy to be betting or even just picking Eubank Jnr to win this fight. A boxer who was a top amateur beats a boxer who was a crap amateur 98 times out of a 100 in the pros. :deal
but when that amateur has been in the US training for years with the Mayweathers he may have picked up more about pro boxing that a good amateur in the UK
I think Saunders will win comfortably, if he stays smart and avoid trading he will easily outbox Eubank.
Currently all eubank jnr is bringing to the table is hes fathers surname! saunders has the beating of eubank jnr its as simple as that!
I can only assume you've never seen the two box, as if anything, BJS will have a speed advantage over CEJ.
BJS is already wound up, promising a knock-out, then retirement if he loses, swearing on his sons life and so on. He wants to put on a show, and will trade and take more risks. Billy Joe could win on points, but knocking out Eubank Jr, that's not going to happen.
Thats all hype mate. he wont be trading at all, hes knows eubanks is the stronger puncher and stronger man. no no no he wont be going for a knockout at all, he probably couldnt get it unless eubanks was gassed, he will be on his toes boxing the head off the stiff heavy footed eubanks jr.
