So far 2-0 this weekend. Picked one upset, and played it safe.

Had faith Dasmarinas' power would be enough to eventually get the job done against the superior boxer and went Dasmarinas KO. And what a KO it was!!!

Ridhwan didn't look like he could take Umbal's power early, but warmed to the occasion and thankfully I went with the hometown guy here, the Singaporean won in Singapore via MD.

Didn't even cross my mind, I occasionally do weekend rundowns when they're stacked with hard calls, and I usually try to be objective as I can be and lay out a few scenarios as opposed to be as biased as I usually am. I'll keep that in mind the next time I do this.

Well, I think you should do that with most posts you put effort into. But the way you laid everything out here made this weekend's line-up seem much more fired-up than I'd realized.

I couldn't shake the Zhakiyanov KO, I figured Guerfi would outclass him for a while, and eventually get caught, Zhanat ain't no KO artist, but he brought the intelligent pressure and eventually it paid off, and that's the same thing Michael brings.

Nasty KO. One of those cases where the finishing punch doesn't look hard, but happens to catch the other guy exactly right. Guerfi did not see that shot coming at all and really paid the price.

Apparently deserved the decision, too. Good on Ridhwan for surviving a rough start against an underrated, heavy handed guy and coming on strong in the second half.

Yeah I know. Denis looked like an alien in that shot.

Scottish guy? I can't think of any opponents of his who are Scottish. You might be thinking of Kevin Mitchell aka the Cockney Lomachenko, if so, he's English. That was a real sweet haematoma Linares gave him and I really enjoyed that one a great deal too lol

 No it's an easy mistake to make for a non Brit; the bald dome, his lack of size, and unintelligible accent is probably what lead you to believe he was a Scotsman.

Whilst bare knuckle and UFC style gloves may look bad to the public but those in the know realise the dangers of boxing gloves and the head clashes
