You can tell these days James Kirkland is punch drunk, yes he was ko’d by Canelo, but it wasn’t a long beating, he never had a long beating in a fight, they say the damage is done in the sparring and Kirkland is the epitome of that saying, because they obviously let people beat him up too thinking it would ‘toughen him up’ it may have done, but also gave him cte
Yes they were methods what they’ve used for years, but it’s no coincidence that they used it more years ago when we didn’t know **** about the human body, since we know more and what it can and can’t handle, more gyms are more sensible

 

Good performance by Savannah. I think Savannah Marshall is a Boxer/Puncher style fighter. Claressa Shield's is a Boxer. SOMETIMES Boxer/Punchers have problems with Boxers, especially in the 1st fight. But, often, they win the rematch. This COULD happen to Savannah. I must say, though, that I'd install Savannah as the favorite in the 1st fight. If my Granddaughter doesn't beat me to it, I'll pay a reasonable amount to watch it this Summer.
