Couldn't agree more lads. I got the missus to record it for me and I've just watched it and the Cuban got jobbed out of a win. I hope Joshua can improve as he looked repetitive and a bit too obvious to me

After all the years of sporting unjusts against the British, it is now time to rectify. Next stop; false start any ****er who is faster that our sprinters. I'd be proud if these Olympics proved to be the most corrupt ever! **** Cuba!

It's a frigging stamp, not a 30-foot high golden statue.

Have we really got to the point where a stamp is the sign of ludicrous extravagance?

agree thought he lost evry round perhaps the first was the closest, and as said the commentary would have you doubting yourself - I wanted Joshua to win but not like this.

Wasnt that impressed by Campbell either after all the hype, although he actually won his bout.

The worst bit is if people keep telling him he won and he deserves to be in the last 8 he will believe that and won't take anything from that bout. Hopefully his coaches tell him straight how it was and he will make the most of it, I want him to win gold just like everyone else but only if he doesn't get gifted it

If you look at the BBC report you only get the inkling of contraversy with this decision. It just talks about Savon being slicker, landing more often. Then it mentions Joshua maybe being given the decision because he landed the heavier shots, and that he was relieved when he had his hand held high.

This is always the problem with olympic boxing. Dodgy decisions.

Savon is on a completely different level to Joshua, dominant performance by the Cuban.

The Cuban won but i think some are being abit harsh on Joshuas ability. The Cuban is a true blue chip prospect that has the bloodlines with his uncle being the great Savon and has probably been boxing since he could walk.He had all the craft and skill,Joshua by comparison has not been boxing long and is still very raw.Joshua for me has great upside in the pro game.

i am not surprised joshua got the nod, home fighters always get shown favoritism, if the last quailfication tournament wasnt in turkey, half of their team wounld not be in london.

I thought he was a bit fortunate. A bit. Maybe a loss by a couple for me.

But 'taken to school' and all that, nah, I didn't see that.

He was the guy coming forward and leading off and I think that always gives you half a chance. You've thrown in the exchange at least.

Whereas Joshua won some points with unanswered one-twos. They will ALWAYS score.

Why does everything have to be so overblown?
